Welcome to The Kula Lab — where your weird little ideas become real Kulas.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: The photos shown here are sample designs only. Once you upload your image (or idea!), we’ll create a completely custom, one-of-a-kind Kula Cloth® featuring your artwork, pet, photo, landscape, inside joke, or wonderfully strange inspiration.

✨ Before we print your Kula, we’ll send you a proof by e-mail for approval — so keep an eye on your inbox and your spam folder! If we don’t hear back within one week, we’ll lovingly finalize your design and send it off into the world.

Tips for the Best Custom Kula:

• High-resolution photos work best (standard cell phone photos are usually perfect!)
• Try not to crop important parts of the image near the edges
• Remember: Kulas are diamond-shaped, so edge portions of square or rectangular photos may be trimmed
• We’ll rotate, crop, and adjust your image to fit beautifully within the Kula template

Founder’s Choice Option

Feeling extra creative? Leave notes, ideas, themes, vibes, dreams, or chaotic artistic visions in the order notes at checkout. We genuinely love weird ideas. Don’t worry — you’ll still receive a proof before printing.

A Few Important Things:

• Please only upload artwork or photography you own or have permission to use
• No unlicensed logos or copyrighted material
• Custom Kulas are for personal use only (not resale)
• Kula reserves the right to refuse designs that don’t align with our brand values

Additional Details

• Custom Kulas currently come with black thread + black snaps only
• No image? No problem. You can submit a concept instead, and we’ll help bring your dream Kula to life
• Please allow up to 3 weeks for delivery (though honestly, we’re usually much faster than that)
