Before printing, we’ll send you a proof by e-mail for approval, so keep an eye on your inbox (and your spam folder!). If we don’t hear back within one week, we’ll lovingly finalize your design and send it off into the world.

Tips for the Best Portrait Kula

• High-resolution photos (300 DPI preferred) work best
• Standard cell phone photos are usually perfect
• Try to avoid photos where parts of your pet are cropped off or blocked by objects
• Since Kulas are diamond-shaped, important elements should stay near the center of the image
• We’ll crop, rotate, and adjust your photo to fit beautifully within the template

Founder’s Choice Option

Feeling creative? Leave notes, themes, vibes, or strange artistic visions in the order notes at checkout. We genuinely love weird ideas. You’ll still receive a proof before printing.

• Current Kula Lab™ prints are available with black thread + black snaps only
• No photo? No problem. You can submit a concept instead and we’ll help bring your dream Kula to life

Please allow up to 3 weeks for delivery of your custom Kula Cloth® (though honestly, we’re usually much faster than that).
